We have all been in a bad space - the space where life gets just a little too hard all at once and we start to wonder why. Why does God allow pain and suffering? Why are we here on earth in the first place? Would anyone really miss us if we suddenly disappeared?
I am here to tell you that there aren't really any perfect answers... none that I have heard of anyways. We will probably spend our entire lives questioning our life purpose and striving to understand why things happen in the ways that they do. But what I have come to realize in the past few years is that life is beautiful regardless of the explanation. Whether an almighty creator God made all of us stitched up in the womb or a big bang instantly formed us in an inexplicable moment, we are alive right now and we have a lot to live for! There are little pieces all around us that scream for us to take notice and believe in the unexplainable. It's okay that we don't know everything about how it all came to be. In fact, I think half the fun just might be in the illusion of the mystery itself. Why would it matter that we cannot properly perceive all that is and will be? Does it really hurt us if we can't describe the endless facets of the world around us? Honestly, I have developed a strong opposition to asking such implacable inquiries. There is so much merit to allowing ourselves the leeway to misunderstand, for in leu of perception we open ourselves to the discovery of what is divine. Here's to the glory of surprise and the beauty of the life held within it, Danielle
